INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

On 9 October, Daya Bay Nuclear Power announced the successful implementation of the Smart Nuclear Emergency Command System, the outcome of CGN’s pioneering research project on nuclear emergency response. The system acts as both the process framework and the key technical tool for responding to nuclear emergencies at nuclear power plants. It enables response personnel to maintain data visibility, command clarity and operational capability throughout drill exercises. It provides emergency organizations with scientific, efficient and professional support in decision-making.

As CGN’s first nuclear emergency command system that meets IT application innovation requirements and integrates a nuclear emergency AI agent, the platform has been deployed on the administrative network and incorporates data from almost 30 related systems. This achieves a ‘mirror twin’ perception function for critical information across the entire plant.
