On July 14, local time, the construction of Unit 5 (C-5) of Pakistan's Chashma Nuclear Power Plant broke ground. This is the third unit of China's independent third-generation nuclear power Hualong No. 1 exported to Pakistan, and also the seventh nuclear power unit exported by China to Pakistan, which is another important milestone in nuclear energy cooperation between China and Pakistan.
