On October 24, 2022, the 9th East Asia Nuclear Energy Forum, co-planned by the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA), Japan, South Korea and Taiwan Nuclear Energy Association, was held by video. Mr. Zhang Tingke, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CNEA, addressed a keynote report on behalf of the CNEA. The forum is hosted by Taiwan Nuclear Development Association and lasted for one day. In this forum, 12 reports on topics such as nuclear energy development in East Asia, radioactive waste management, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants were delivered. Nearly 100 people from more than 30 organizations in mainland China attended the conference.
