At 9:00 a.m. on February 7, UK local time, the UK Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and the Environment Agency (EA) issued a joint statement confirming that China's autonomous nuclear power technology "Hualong No. 1" passed the UK General Design Review (GDA). On the same day, the Design Approval Confirmation (DAC) and Statement of Design Acceptance (SoDA) certificates were issued for "Hualong No. 1".
