On August 9, the first batch of Russian-supplied large-scale components and equipment of Tianwan Nuclear Power Unit 7, the shell of core catcher and packing arrived at Tianwan site via 12,000 nautical miles after lasting for 60 days, from the Port of St. Petersburg, Russia.
The arrival of this batch of large-scale components for Russia is in a severe epidemic period both at home and abroad. In order to do a good prevention and control of the epidemic, Jiangsu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. organized relevant units and departments to formulate an epidemic prevention and control plan for the large-scale components supplied to Russia. Through a series of measures such as port disinfection, nucleic acid sampling, and personnel monitoring, the risk of the epidemic has been completely eliminated and the health and safety of people is guaranteed.
