INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

On July 9, the scientific and technological achievement of "Ionizing Radiation Technology for Treating Antibiotic Wastewater and Bacterial Residue" jointly developed by CGN Dasheng, a subsidiary of CGN Nuclear Technology, and the Institute of Nuclear Research of Tsinghua University passed expert appraisal. It is reported that this achievement is the first in China, and it provides a new way for the harmless treatment of antibiotic wastewater and bacterial residue. CGN Dasheng and the Institute of Nuclear Research of Tsinghua University jointly developed the "Hemei" electron beam treatment special waste technology and process with independent intellectual property rights, which has been successfully applied in antibiotic production enterprises in Xinjiang and Shandong, and has achieved significant social and economic benefits. This technology has unique advantages such as strong processing capacity, high degree of automation, and mild reaction conditions at normal temperature and pressure, and has broken through the traditional methods of treating and disposing of antibiotic wastewater and bacterial residues, such as high cost and difficulty in meeting water quality standards.
